Kesh QR is owned and facilitated by Innovectives LLC. Innovectives is a third generation FinTech collaborating with Regulators, Operators (FinTechs, Banks, Switches, other financial institutions), international card schemes, telcos and value added services providers to deepen payment adoption as well as financial and social inclusions.
The company provides access to formal financial services and facilitates digital payment adoption as payment facilitator, payment aggregator, payment processor, agency banking provider, merchant aggregator and point of sale solution provider as well as micro-credit scheme operator.
PRODUCT SOLUTION AND PRODUCT VISION
To drive “Financial Inclusion” has always been the goal of the company.
Our vision was to “promote financial inclusion in Africa by enabling all Africans to conduct commercial transactions on their mobile devices” with the firm belief that we can facilitate digital payments and provide easy access to financial services such as savings, withdrawals, bill payments and insurance to the financially excluded adult population in Nigeria and beyond.
THE QR MVP
Based on the sketching sessions, i was able to map out the core features needed by merchants to aid their daily transactions. I identified the following key user stories:
Scan To Pay:
Customers can scan merchant’s QR code to make payment easily and directly from the app
Merchants can easily receive money from customers.
Merchants can issue refund to customers
Check their transaction history:
With daily successful, merchants can track their success and income.
In order for the engineers to begin on the architecture, I mocked up the main screens for the MVP based off the sketches created.
DESIGNS & BRANDING
I quickly did some mockups of the basic user journey before going over it with the desired styling. I opted for a refreshing and lively look and the simplicity of the UI. I then created for the developers a clickable prototype with Adobe XD & Adobe Illustrator for app assets e.g icons and illustrations.
