SimPay is a native Android application that communicates via toll free encrypted SMS to provide interswitch products at locations in remote areas with no reliable connectivity.

This will be an application intended for end users (P2P), not for merchants/retailers. Specifically those who have access to a bank debit account, and want to pay bills and recharge airtime from the convenience of their homes
The client wanted something unique, their choice of colour and creating custom icons with which to interpret the core features of the mobile application.
AND PRODUCT VISION
We want the application users to be able to pay merchants with QRCode. The merchant will be given a QRcode with basically the merchant id. The User selects SIMPAY QRcode, they scan the QRcode and enter the amount to make payment to the merchant.
THE SIMPAY MVP
Customers can make online payments for various products and services. When using Quickteller to make payments, customers also have access to a range of value-added services such as buying airline tickets, recharging airtime, paying utility bills and much more.
Based on the sketching sessions, i was able to map out the core features needed by merchants to aid their daily transactions. I identified the following key user stories:1) User self registration and authentication via OTP, user enters the mobile number
2) User can pay bills and buy products (Airtaime recharge, Electricity, utilities, etc) offered by Interswitch in Uganda
3) Sending the Bank ATM PIN via SIMPAY application for validation using SIMPAY encrypted SMS and internet protocol
4) Bank end system integration to Interswitch that translate the request packet to Interswitch Quickteller format
